‘Earth’
Plate tectonics is the theory that Earth's outer shell is divided into several plates that glide over the mantle, the rocky inner layer above the core. The plates act like a hard and rigid shell compared to Earth mantles. This strong outer layer is called the lithosphere.
One of the first lines of evidence suggesting the existence of plate tectonics was the discovery of very similar fossils in rock masses separated by vast distances and by ocean expanses. It suggested that those land areas had in the past been connected.
The shapes of many continents are such that they look like they are separated pieces of a jig-saw puzzle.
Many fossil comparisons along the edges of continents that look like they fit together suggest species similarities that would only make sense if the two continents were joined at some point in the past.
There are ridges, such as the Mid-Atlantic Ridge (see figures above and below) where plates are separating that are produced by lava welling up from between the plates as they pull apart. Likewise, there are mountain ranges being formed where plates are pushing against each other (e.g., the Himalayas, which are still growing).

In conclusion Plate tectonics are important to understand the way in which our planet evolve. They are responsible for many of the structures and features that exists in our planet. Gathering an understanding of the information provided in this site will provide a better idea of how the Earth underwent through many geological processes that still taking action.

I agree with the plate because  tectonics Plates are pieces of the Earth's crust and uppermost mantle, together referred to as the lithosphere. The plates are around 100 km (62 mi) thick and consist of two principal types of material: oceanic crust (also called sima from silicon and magnesium) and continental crust  (sial from silicon and aluminium).

1) What did you enjoy most about this project and why?
The thing I enjoy the most about this project is making the lab because it wasn’t boring.
2) What was the most challenging for you during this project and why?
The most challenging for my during this project is to watch two brainpop and write two summary about each one.
3) What new skills did you learn from doing this project?
The new skills that I learn from doing this project is what make the lava come out of the mountain and what’s make the plate move.
4) Is there anything that you could have done to improve any of your work? Explain.
yes there is something that i could done better to improve my work is my video to make everything together.
5) What would you change about this project?
Something I would change about this project is the narrative video.

Vocabulary
                                                                 Revolution Length: Longueur de révolution

the distance form the sun through the earth.

Hemisphere:hémisphère

A half of a symmetrical, approximately spherical object as divided by a plane of symmetry.

Equinoxes:Equinoxes

Either of two point on the celestial sphere at which ecliptic intersects the celestial equator.

Revolution : révolution
A turning or rotational motion about an axis.

equator:Equateur
The imaginary great circle around the earth's surface, equidistant from the poles and perpendicular to the earth's axis of rotation.

Ellipse:ellipse
A conic section whose plane is not parallel to the axis, base, or generatrix of the intersected cone.

Equinox: Equinox

Celestial sphere showing the positions of the autumnal and vernal equinoxes.

Orbit:Orbite

The part of a celestial body or an artificial satellite as it revolves around another body.

Axis:Axe
A reference line from which distances or angles are measured in a coordinate system.

Summary
Equinoxes is when the sun crosses the plan of earth. The Equator is the line in them middle of the earth that separated it into two part witch if south and north. In south is mostly summer because the earth is Axis is tilt (not strait down). The earth is tilt 23.5 degrees and the shape of the earth is Orbit is a Ellipse. The revolution is when the earth goes around the sun that one of the reason that we have different season and the second reason is because of the angle during the winter the energy from the sun must travel through more atmosphere to reach the poles. also of the sun's energy is spread over a large area. The Revolution length is the distance and the times it take the earth to goes around the sun is 1 year (365 days) and a Hemisphere is a sphere and Equinox is day and night are equal. this topic is about Equinoxes, how does the earth move and how much does the earth tilt and how does we get different season us living things.

Critical

The earth effected by the movement because the moon causes the majority of the tides experienced in the earth's oceans. The moon causes solar eclipses to be observed on earth. The moon provides a small amount of light during the night on the earth, allowing nocturnal creatures to see.

Reflection

what did you enjoy most about this project and why?

The thing that I enjoy most in this project is when I was helping my group making the video because we were collaborate and share our ideas and all these idea help us finish the al project.

what was most challenging for you during this project and why?

the most challenging thing for me by doing this project was the quiz because I have to make the quiz and to find the correct answer for each questions.

What new skills did you learn from doing this project?

The new skills that I learn from going is project is how to find information in a easy way to make a summary.

Is there anything that you could have done to improve any of your work? Explain.

In the poster I could have done a better job because I didn't put much word in the poster but i can explain everything really good in the presentation.
